GTFU :How to Grow The Fuck Up and become an ELDER at any age

GTFU Reader Bonus:
The ELDER Poster

Chapter 6 of GTFU is all about five essential traits of mature, grown-ass adults, referred to throughout my book as ELDERs — people who are...

Empowered, Luminous, Disciplined, Evolving, and Responsible.

A grown man or woman doesn’t have to be old to be an ELDER. If you have enough life experience to start giving back some of what you’ve been given — and you want to make that kind of difference in the world — then you have what it takes.

The chapter includes a list of principles and practices for each trait, and I reformatted the lists as an 11x17-inch poster that I could print and hang on my fridge or in my workspace, so I can regularly review this vision of ELDERhood.

Readers of GTFU are invited to download a PDF of the poster, print up to five copies* (for personal, non-commercial use), and/or keep the PDF file on their computer desktop for easy access. I recommend reviewing it anytime you feel like you’ve veered off your ELDERhood path, to get yourself back on track and stay aligned with the principles.

Printing Your Poster

You’ll need to use a printer that can handle 11x17-inch (“tabloid”) paper. Such printers are often available to use for a small fee at print shops like FedEx Office, Staples, and OfficeDepot/Max, and they can usually print on colored paper if requested. (Lighter paper colors like this or thismake the black text easier to read.)

You can also print the PDF on a single 8.5x11-inch (or A4) page, with the scaling set between 60% and 70% depending on the printer. At that scale, the text is too small for a wall poster, but you could fold it up and keep it in your wallet as a handy reference.

Enjoy!
